Hey guys - I tried to get my bike to pass inspection and found out that the rear brake light does not work! I was told by my local dealership (which is as bad as most...) that I needed an entire rear brake cable assembly. The clyer manual seems to indicate however that there is actually both a rear brake cable and a rear brake LIGHT cable. However they only seem to tell you how to install the rear brake cable itself.
Am I missing something? Do I just need to try and convince them that I only need a rear brake cable and not the entire $50 assembly? Any help or even a mention of the page I might be missing in the clymer manual where they talk about the cable for the light would be very helpful. Thanks!
